We are delighted to have back with us this amazing Defender 110, which we supplied and built for an overseas client sum five years ago. What a success story, all help and advice given at the time was all done remotely. We only met our customer the day he arrived to pick it up. That was some five years ago, since it has been travelling the globe with minimal breakdowns or issues. It still drives just a tight today as it did the day it left us so a great testament to our clients driving skills and maintenance program, and our great team for the top job building it. The build started with a very clean Stornaway grey 110 XS Utility station wagon with the addition of pop-top roof conversion with a 270-degree awning. A side shower cubical and storage box were added. As our client had already spent many years exploring via motorbike he had to have a sensible lightweight enduro nailed on the back for further off-piste adventures so you get this Honda CRF 250 or a deal could be done if motorbiking is not for you. Further works included large capacity National Luna fridge freezer, rear bench seat with 2nd row seat delete, heavy duty 130 spec plus 2 inch suspension, heavy-duty drive shafts and flanges, ARB rear locking differential and compressor, front mounted hi-lift jack on HD winch bumper incorporating Lazer DLR, spot lights, recovery winch, front steering and differential guard, Snorkle, raised air intake, black LR checker plate wing tops, rear quarter sill protectors, rock slider sills with side protection bars, bespoke NeneBuilt heavy duty motorcycle carrier and loading ramp, Hannibal safari roof rack with full width Lazer mirror reflection LED light bar, 5 BFG AT tyres and bonnet mounted cargo webbing kit and no doubt plenty more.
