Description
Enthusiast owned and specialist maintained since new, this is a properly sorted and cherished example. 2 previous owners plus Citroen UK. It is needing nothing and is ready to use and enjoy. It has been maintained by very well respected and renowned North West C6 specialist Dave Ashworth Citroen Services. These guys have known it since pre-reg and have sold it twice and maintained it all it's life. Over the last couple of years and in addition to routine servicing, it has had suspension strut replacement, front spheres, wishbones etc and very recent expenditure has included a new battery ( 3 year guarantee ), front brake discs, pads and calipers. It is 11, 500 plus miles away from next service. It still runs on the correct fitment of Michelin Primacy 4 tyres all round, including the spare wheel. Originality and a no expense spared attitude has been the mindset with this car. There are no warning lights on the dashboard and everything works as it should. It has covered 99, 927 miles. It runs and drives beautifully... it has 11 months mot.
It's the 2. 7v6 HDI Lignage. First registered to Citroen UK on 29th September 2007. 99, 927 miles. Finished in Deep Red metallic with full black electric and heated leather seats and multi-change, boot mounted CD player with factory JBL speakers. Electric memory seats are in lovely condition and the heated rear seats have seen very little use. Headlining is nice and tight and clean. Cruise control is fully working and the heater blows hot and cold on both sides and through every vent... including the independently controlled rear passenger climate control. The directional xenon headlights work perfectly and lenses are nice and clear.
It's in lovely order throughout and hopefully the photos show this. There's the very odd tiny mark and the wheels aren't perfect condition, however it is a lovely example that has been maintained regardless.... and that is the essential bit in my opinion. It's just not getting used enough. My Volvo 850R is my daily workhorse that accommodates the dogs and the grandkids bikes etc and the Citroen is just not getting used because it doesn't suit the use that I need. It has 2 original keys and all owners manuals etc...
I'm fully aware that there's cheaper ones out there, but as most owners will know... if it's cheap and been skimped on maintenance, it's very likely false economy.
