Description
1937 Lancia Aprilia with documented low ownership in a very attractive colour scheme. Acquired by the present owner in 2016, the engine has had a recent re-build and the interior a complete retrim. These cars were technically very advanced for their day, with four wheel independent suspension, advanced narrow angle V4 overhead cam engine, Hydraulic brakes, excellent aerodynamics and a four door pillarless monocoque body, no separate chassis here! They were marketed as the first 80 mph small capacity saloon at launch and are easily capable of keeping up with modern traffic today. The history file contains copies of the original Italian registration documents, a Lancia UK drivers instruction manual and invoices for relevant work carried out.
