This XK120 3. 4 litre in left hand drive is the desirable Special Equipment model . Each SE had fitted to the interior a plaque bearing the words: 'It is certified that this Jaguar car is an exact replica of the record-breaking car which attained the speed of 132. 6mph at Jabbeke Belgium, 30 May, 1949. William Haynes, Chief Engineer, Jaguar Cars.
The car has been recently serviced and maintained to highest standard by current owner.
This lovely ‘Matching number ‘ example stands out cosmetically and technically in very good state and condition. Lovely bucket seats fitted, complete with side-screens and black soft top, technical review throughout, new steering wheel , underbody and engine cleaned , wire wheels, spare wheel in trunk and service check all into details with invoice of maintenance and Heritage Certificate of Jaguar present.
The colour combination is also very tasteful and stylish, the body is painted in red exterior with a lovely shine and black leather interior. The XK 120 comes complete with side-screens and tonneau cover. A very nice classic combination. The colour is not its original colour; the car used to be bronze exterior with biscuit and tan leather interior and hood when it was built in 1951.
The car is part of a great collection! The car is a blast to drive. Engine has a beautiful sound, it accelerates great, drives and shifts smoothly and has a responsive steering. It is registered in Germany on German numberplates.
