INCREDIBLE PROVENANCE // EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION
We are excited to offer for sale this exceptional Honda CBR900RR Fireblade, finished in arguably the best colour combination of Pearl Flash Yellow and Blue (colour code Y163-P).
As seen in the photographs, this example presents in exceptional condition, with paintwork retaining a bright and consistent shine throughout. There are no careless dings or scuffs to the fairings, whilst the tank remains free from any scratches or dents. It’s immediately evident upon inspection of this example that it has been cosseted throughout its 24 years of use!
Registered in July 2002, making this one of the first 954’s, the history file contains umpteen invoices, MOT certificates, and unbelievably even the original sales invoice and documentation. The warranty and service booklet shows that this 954 has benefitted from regular servicing at the following intervals: 630, 4054, 8005, 12672, 18151, 20311, 21509 and 24, 794 miles. We have carried out a recent service including oil/ filter, plugs, injectors cleaned and throttle bodies balanced. Tyres are virtually brand new Michelin Pilots.
Accompanying the history file are two keys and HPI certificate, showing just three former keepers.
The 954 is a significant model in the Fireblade’s history being the last of the Tadao Baba designed bikes, prior to the introduction of the bigger capacity CBR1000RR. Said by many to be the best Fireblade ever, due to its light weight and free revving, beautifully smooth engine. Even by today’s standards, the 954 is an incredibly refined superbike with peerless Honda build quality. As such, this is still a very light, and quick superbike more than capable of holding it’s own against far newer, more expensive bikes.
This particular example is largely standard, currently fitted with a Dominator exhaust, however the original is supplied with the bike. Unmolested examples of the ever popular CBR900RR are becoming seldom seen on today’s market, and this bike doesn’t disappoint.
Supplied with 12 months MOT, this iconic modern classic wants for nothing and is ready to be used and enjoyed by its next, very lucky custodian. An early viewing is highly recommended.
