This retro street scrambler Bullet is fitted with an ‘asbo’ spec engine built by Paul Henshaw at Performance Classics. The engine bears his own number; 009. Paul confirmed the following details: Ported head, alloy cylinder barrel, 9:1 American made piston and lightened and rebalanced crank, polished alloy conrod fitted. New big end bearing and new European main bearings. Performance cams and a Bob Newby clutch and belt drive fitted.
The build also included twin leading shoe front brake, new polished chrome fork stanchions, new Smiths style speedo, scramble type bars with competition levers. Polished aluminium fuel tank and mudguards, scramble seat with lightweight aluminium bracket.
The asbo is road registered and can be used on public highways once an MOT has been obtained.
Supplied with V5C and fitting instruction for the electronic ignition system.
