Selling on behalf of a customer. Lovely little 1300E which was bought brand new for £1370. 75, from Skellys, Glasgow by a gentleman in Bearsden in Glasgow and kept till 2018 when it was sold to a private collector who is the 2nd and current owner. Very original car which the first owner had the foresight to get it ziebarted from new. It looks very original underneath. During its lifetime its had new wings, arch repairs and been repainted. Its in its original colour of Olympic Blue with original blue interior and door cards. We have two sets of keys with supplying dealer key ring, original V5 and current V5 showing 1 previous owner. We have the original bill of sale, original service book showing 13 services up to 75000 miles in 1983. The 1st owner kept a log of everything spent on the car all the old MOTs and has two small books where he recorded every journey , fuel and any other expenses. I dont think ive ever seen such a comprehensive history.
Body - Original shell. Car has never been welded underneath and still has its original zievart on it. Its very solid from front to back with no rust. As previous mentioned it had new wings, repairs to arches and was repainted about 12 years ago. Panel gaps are good It has all its correct front wing indicators, over riders and driving lights. Original door mirrors. Black vinyl roof. Great looking old car. Its not a concours car but a very tidy survivor car in great condition.
Mechanics - Good 1300 crossflow and 4 speed box. Running gear is all standard. Not been used for a couple of years but has been dry stored. Starts runs and drives and feels nice and tight.
Interior - Super rare Blue 1300E interior and matching blue door cards. Correct 6 dial dash and wood finishings. Still has the ice scraper in centre console. Lovely original interior.
Wheels - Original steels with chrome centre caps, and trim rings. Tyres are good.
