Previously sold by SLSHOP to its present owner, this 1988 500SL in Diamond Blue with Blue Sports Check interior trim has covered just under 69, 000 miles since it was first registered. Enjoyed by its present owner since 2016, its back with us to find someone else to enjoy this nicely specified, fine driving example of the R107 SL.
CONDITION SYNOPSIS:
There’s no greater proof that taking a bit of care and attention can have you looking as good in your mid-30s as you did in your prime. This car exemplifies that, because you’d be hard pushed to believe the number on its odometer. Looking and feeling fit, we’d be lying if we said it was absolutely perfect, but the imperfections are so slight you really, really need to be looking for them. Overall, then, it presents beautifully, with its Blue Sports Check interior suiting its Diamond Blue paintwork and bright chrome. The hood is like new, with no cracks or crazing of the windows, with the hardtop also being in fantastic condition. A car that SLSHOP has sold before, and maintained since, its next owner will be getting a fabulous car.
