This car was owned by its previous owner since 1999 and has been the subject of a painstaking body restoration with photos and many invoices to show works including new leather interior, new carpets, new black mohair soft top, new chrome work, new tyres, new glass all around, new braking system, new heating system and new grill etc.
It had new valve guides and cylinder head in 2002 and unleaded conversion to the engine in 2005 and has had a Mikoni/ Solex carb conversion. It has also had a refurbished brake servo and replaced copper pipes and flexi hoses, water pump, rubber seals. As a result it drives as a very well sorted Mercedes 190 SL should.
This has been a money-no-object labour of love restoration by the previous owner.
