A later model that benefits from a mechanical fuel pump and rear fuel tank. The 1934 cars also have the four speed box with synchromesh gears and exposed trafficators. The starter motor sits in the engine compartment providing more room in the passenger cabin compared to earlier models.

This is an exceptional example, acquired from long term ownership, which needs for nothing and has clearly had a lot of money lavished on it in the past. The interior is in superb order throughout. The car has been carpeted, which is usually lacking in these cars and with a fully working sunroof and a super dashboard the cabin is a very nice place to be.

The paint work is a very good standard and the spotless engine bay has been nicely detailed. It even retains the original 90 year old rubber on the running boards .

The car was registered new in 1934 and still retains its original transferable registration number .

We have gone through the mechanics of the car and everything works as it should and the engine pulls well, sounds great and is smoke free, with excellent oil pressure.

The underneath of the car is in exceptionally good order.

What really makes this car stand out from the others is the exceptional history file, which can trace the ownership of the vehicle right back to 1934.. It was originally owned by a district nurse, who confirmed this with a letter written in 1972, after the 50th anniversary meeting in Longbridge, who also donated original photographs with her and the car. There are various press articles , old tax discs and MOT's etc etc

There are numerous invoices and notes relating to maintenance of the car during recent years .

Austin Sevens are well supported by numerous owners clubs, of which the last owner was an active member, even taking the car to Denmark on one occasion, making it easy to obtain spares and advice.

If you are seeking a later box saloon that is definitely a show worthy and is in excellent condition throughout, this is it. They are difficult to find in this condition and you will not be disappointed.

Part exchange and UK wide delivery is available and we are also happy to deliver to any mainland port for export.
