EXTERIOR
This 997. 2 GTS is finished in bright Carrera White which is perfectly offset by the subtle black trim, GTS decals, and striking 19-inch RS Spyder wheels. The paintwork maintains a great finish all round with no unsightly car park dings or major blemishes to report. The wide rear hips are free from notable road rash with the protective decals showing almost no signs of wear at all. In line with the mileage there are one or two light frontal stone chips and one of the rear lights shows signs of moisture ingress.
INTERIOR
The supportive sports seats are trimmed in soft Alcantara with leather bolsters and a contrasting stitch. Alcantara extends to the SportDesign steering wheel, handbrake lever and door trims, all of which remain in fine condition with no major wear to report. Spec-wise this GTS boasts satellite navigation, BOSE surround sound, heated seats, Park Assist, and of course the desirable Sport Chrono Package Plus option.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The GTS’s uprated 3. 8-litre flat-six engine with direct fuel injection (DFI) delivers 408hp, which is 23hp more than the 911 Carrera S. Better still, when equipped with the 7-speed PDK transmission and optional Sport Chrono Package Plus – as this example is – the Coupé model can accelerate from 0-60mph in an astonishing 4. 2 seconds. Sport Chrono Plus offers an even more dynamic tuning of the chassis and engine setup.
HISTORY FILE
The GTS was first registered in May 2011; it was supplied new by Porsche Centre Wilmslow. The original Porsche document pack is present with all handbooks, and the History File is complete with every MOT certificate and a raft of invoices. New tyres were fitted all round circa 4k miles ago, and the brake pads and discs were replaced only 2k miles ago. The car has only ever been serviced at Porsche or by well-regarded Porsche specialists. The last major service was done in 2021 and for the new keeper’s peace of mind a fresh service will be carried out prior to sale by our trusted marque specialist. All in all, a stunning example and a car we know well having sold it once before.
