Description
The DB7 Vantage was without doubt one of the most important models that Aston Martin ever produced. The standard DB7 proved that customers had taken to the new Aston Martin era, but it was the Vantage that propelled Aston into the 21st century with its V12 power plant and updated, more aggressive styling. The V12 was Aston Martins first 12-cylinder engine, producing 420bhp and helping the DB7 Vantage hit 60mph in 5. 1 seconds on the way to a top speed of 165mph.
This car, chassis number 23, is one of the very earliest DB7 Vantages produced. There were an estimated 10-12 development and crash-test cars built before this regular production model, as well as a number of Demo and Press Loan cars, meaning this was one of the very first cars to reach customers in July 1999. Our records also show that this was the only DB7 Vantage produced in this fetching specification of Derwent Green Metallic over Forest Green and Saddle Tan leather. Optional extras on this car include Premium In Car Entertainment, Sports Steering Wheel, Heated Front Screen, Walnut Facia and Black Calipers. This car also features the ultra-rare Dymag magnesium alloy wheels, which were offered as a DBY Vantage accessory.
Having covered 36, 769 miles from new and recently subject to a thorough recommissioning at Aston Workshop, this 1999 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, chassis number 23, is now for sale at Aston Workshop.
