Presented in the stunning classic colour combination of Rosso Corsa Red with a Full Crema Leather Interior here we have for sale an immaculate ex magazine featured and ferrari enthusiast owned... 1990’ Ferrari Mondial 3. 4T Coupe.
The Mondial “T” was released in 1989 and was the final version of the Mondial range and now came with the much more powerful ferrari 348 3. 4 engine running gear...
The Mondial was seen as a huge success for Ferrari having made nearly 8, 000 models during its production cycle, however, within the final “T” Variant, only 858 3. 4 T Coupes were ever produced and there are believed to have been only 45 manual right-hand drive examples.
It gains its name as the “3. 4 T” as although Mondial's of previous years had both their engines and gearboxes mounted transversely; the Mondial T kept the transverse orientation for the gearbox but had a longitudinally mounted engine. This configuration of engine and gearbox formed a “T” shape and allowed the engine to sit lower in the chassis for better handling (a set up still used within the modern V8 range) and it gained a new 3. 4L engine rather than a 3. 2L allowing for an extra 40 hp taking the total to 300 hp and was the first mondial model to gain power steering making it a far superior drive over any previous mondial variants.
This example has been previously shown and featured in and on the front cover of Car & Classic , the most recent owner purchased it in 2017 from Foskers Ferrari Specialists (who had supplied this Mondial already once previous to a past owner)
She has been superbly looked after with a huge folder of service history and a file full with invoices dating back to 1992 & even includes the bill of sale to the 2nd owner in 1996 and includes nearly every old MOT dating back to 1992 which according to the paperwork provided shows she has passed every MOT first time bar 2 in her whole life!!
Within the history included, is the factory original service book & handbook, showing this Ferrari 3. 4T Mondial Coupe to have been delivered on 13th January 1990 by Nigel Mansell Sports Car Limited (Official Ferrari). The history shows to have been serviced 19 times throughout its life, showing fantastic ownership considering this Ferrari has been off the road since 2020, and during the period of 2008 - 2012, hence it covered only 171 miles during this period!!
The most recent owner has kept this classic Ferrari well maintained by Lancaster Official Ferrari Colchester. Due to the pandemic, he has not used this Ferrari, hence the reason for sale & THE SALE WILL INCLUDE FRESH ANNUAL SERVICE & CAMBELTS at a local independent Ferrari Specialist.
Recently it has had a new clutch, Flywheel, Release Bearing, rear Tyres, fuel pipe and Brake Pads.
