This very special Mercedes 230E Saloon has been owned by one family from new - In fact the owners were working for the British Civil Service in Germany in the early eighties, and ordered the right-hand drive car new from the Mercedes factory in Stuttgart in 1983 (which included lunch in the restaurant) On their return to the UK in 1985, the car was re-registered with the DVLA.
The car has done 106, 117 miles, and has clearly been looked after, having been regularly serviced throughout its life, It has been MOT’d every year even though in some recent years it has only covered 40 miles between checks! The car comes with loads of service and MOT documents going back over 30 years, and includes the original Mercedes owners handbook. The Interior is in great condition and the drive is very smooth considering its age, the manual gearbox is also a pleasure to use.
Ideally the family would like the car to go to someone who appreciates the ‘Old School’ quality of this 40 year old manual Mercedes saloon.
