Saab 96 1500 1976
Nice and tidy car that has been with its current owner for just over five years, the only reason for the sale is as he now owns a VW Beetle and does not need two cars. Before he purchased it, it was owned by an elderly couple and used as their summer car.
The exterior paint is nice and presentable, of course it is an old car so there are signs of wear and tear in places. Interior and upholstery are all intact, roof lining does not sag.
All inspections (MOT/ TUV) over the last five years have passed without any advisories, the underneath has been rust protected at some point.
Last year there was a complete clutch overhaul, full service and new front silencer fitted. This was all carried out by a former Saab mechanic.
The speedometer is reading 85 000 km, this can not be verified and has most likely gone around at least once.
