We welcome back into stock this exceptionally low mileage Ford Fiesta Popular Plus. ?Selling on behalf of a customer. We believe this Ford Fiesta was dry stored and unused for over 16 years. The first owner took delivery of the vehicle on the 31st of March 1990 from Ford main agent, Gates and since being kept by an avid Ford collector.
EXTERIOR
Finished in its original factory Maritime Blue paintwork. We believe the vehicle retains its original factory fitted panels. The exterior looks amazing and presents to a show standard with only the very lightest of age-related patina in some areas. The paintwork is bright and glossy following a professional detail and wax treatment. The exterior rubbers, factory etched glass, light lenses, and trim are original and in excellent condition.
INTERIOR
The interior presents beautifully, showing virtually no wear on the switchgear or surfaces. All dials and switchgear function correctly and show no cracks or UV damage to the dashboard. The seats and door panels are finished in their original Madrid, Bluestone fabric and are in excellent condition. Key features include a digital clock, passenger sun visor, front rubber mats, and illuminated front cigar lighter! The interior has an upgraded Sharp RG-F858E stereo cassette player installed, but the original Model 2001 radio is supplied with the vehicle.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 1, 117cc HCS engine and gearbox are original items. Having benefited from a service and a new MOT, the vehicle drives without fault. The engine runs extremely smoothly and provides a joyous driving experience.
WHEELS, TYRES, AND BRAKES
The factory-fitted 13-inch wheels are equipped with 4 new 155/ 70 R13 correct specification Firestorm MultiHawk 2 tires. All brakes are in excellent condition and have fresh brake fluid.
BOOT
The boot floor shows no signs of rust or accident damage, only a few minor marks and scratches from light use. The parcel shelf is straight and free from any aftermarket speaker holes. The boot contains its original spare wheel and factory-fitted tire.
HISTORY
The service history file includes the original Ford service book, owner's handbook, Ford Gates order form, GR 20 alarm code and instructions, Sharp cassette player operation manual, invoices, two Ford keys, two alarm fobs, supplying dealer number plate and rear dealer window sticker, and a period Haynes manual.
