Description
Created by Richard Oakes of ADD, the NOVA was a futuristic kit car from the 70s. Based on the chassis of the Beetle from which it derives the main mechanical components, thanks to the lightness of the whole, it still managed to be a pleasant car on a sporting level. The project has been sold in several countries and this is one of the very rare PUMAs produced in Rome in via Tiburtina by Adriano Gatto, who also built the famous red and yellow Buggy by Bud Spencer & Terence Hill in "Altrimenti ci arrabbiamo". In this Italian version the quiet VW engine has been replaced by a more performing Alfa Romeo Boxer obtained from the model "33" with power up to 110hp.
The car is in excellent condition and always kept in the garage and registered as historical car by ASI.
