Lotus Elan+2S130/ 4, 1972. 23, 000 miles from new. Lagoon Blue metallic with champagne metal-flake roof. Lagoon Blue metallic being the most popular colour for the Plus Two. Dry stored from 1987 - 2022 and recently recommissioned. Previous owner is an experienced car racer and restorer and has undertaken a thorough programme of recommissioning work to prepare the Elan for the road once more. The engine has been rebuilt with new piston rings, big-end shells etc. Cylinder head stripped and rebuilt with reground valves. New radiator and hoses. Electrical system overhauled as necessary with replacement relays as required. New air-horns. New vacuum pipes for the pop-up lights. Brake and clutch systems overhauled. New suspension dampers and springs and bushes where necessary. New stainless steel exhaust system.. Original Owner?s Handbook. Lovely original interior. All 5 alloys have been refurbished with new tyres fitted. The dashboard is lovely with original instruments and working clock! Drives superbly well and handles as a well-sorted Lotus should.
