Classic Car Design offers you this Lotus Elise S1, the first, the purest! And even rarer, in its 111S version, with 25bhp more than the base version and a cut-off at 7200rpm! This LHD conversion is in excellent condition, having benefited from regular servicing (a file of invoices since new) as well as a recent complete overhaul with some reliability improvements. On the outside, apart from the rear sticker, the 111S is easily recognisable by its bubble headlights, rear spoiler, raised bonnet and wider rear wings covering specific 6-spoke OZ wheels. The bodywork is superb and virtually flawless. The wheels are as good as new. The soft top is in very good condition, with only minor signs of wear. Inside, the beige leather upholstery, which perfectly matches the dark blue exterior, is in very good condition, with only minor signs of use. The dashboard is perfect, with its carbon-style trim. The rest is aluminium, just hidden by the new custom-made carpets. Mechanically, we find the Rover K-series 1. 8L 16-valve 4-cylinder engine, but this time with VVC camshafts. This engine is in fine form, having benefited this year from a revised cylinder head, an improved cooling system and a revised injection system. The rest of the powertrain, including the brakes and running gear, is in great shape, having been serviced over the last 5, 000 kilometres... This is a superb Lotus Elise 111S with a great track record. The list of recent work is long, available and accompanied by photos showing the extent of the work.
