Offer for sale this very nice Series one ex fire engine.
This one has spent most of its working life at MOD establishments and the last was at Barnbow near Leeds where the
Centurion's, Chieftain's and latterly Challenger tank were being built.
Originally it would have been fitted with a rear chassis mounted pump with hose reel in the back and suction hoses
mounted on the bonnet .
The original tool lockers are still in place on the rear wheel arches.
These fire series one's are fairly rare these days and this one could appeal to Fire enthusiasts or it could be made into a
civvy type series one
with for example a soft top and change of colour, etc.
The chassis is very good and it has previously had a rear x member and some outriggers fitted , the bulkhead and
footwells are also good .
The 2 litre engine is a very very nice smooth sounding correct petrol unit .
