Stunning 1959 Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite in Iris Blue with Cream factory hardtop. Fitted with a 1380cc A Series Engine with a 45 twin choke Weber. The engine was built by Dave Wells at SH Engineering- it has been balanced, ported and gas flowed. Recently tuned by Peter Burgess with over 110 BHP indicated at the rear wheels. Stainless Steel repackable exhaust with stainless tubular branch manifold. Driven by a Sierra 5 Speed J type gearbox. Front suspension is fully adjustable AVO shock absorbers with lowered and stiffened Frontline springs. Rear springs are lowered and stiffened by Frontline racing also. Disc brake conversion with braided flexi hose on the front. Wheels are Magnesium Silverstone model by American Racing (very rare and sought after). Blue interior and seats are Bespoke by Frontline racing. Rack & Pinion high ratio Steering with Motolita leather steering wheel. Originally restored by Sherwood Restorations Ltd. in 2001 and covering less than 7000 in that time. It comes with its original engine (palletised), a small selection of heads and rocker covers. A fantastic all steel Frog eye that has a rust free, excellently painted underside which has been clear Waxoyl coated to preserve. This car is useable in todays traffic with motorway driving not being an issue due to the car's fast road specification.
