Description
This original 1959 Frogeye with only 3 former keepers has been parked in a dry garage for 36 years. It's in need of full restoration but what a smashing thing it will be when done.
The chassis appears generally sound and solid but floors, sills, wheel arches etc. will all need significant work and/ or replacement with new panels. The original steel bonnet seems to have been removed in 1983 but it comes with a good quality fibre-glass replacement. It is a largely complete car save for one or two bits - e. g. there are no seats and no hub cap covers - but comes with good quality original replacement doors and various window / screen attachments. Hood frame and chrome cappings are present - please study the pictures for what's there!
The gearbox is full of oil and turns freely but the engine has been dismantled and will require a full rebuild. All original major components appear to be present.
With parts and panels readily availble for these cars why not take the plunge and get this previously unrestored Frogeye back up to scratch and back on the road.
Comes with V5C log-book, keys and just a few old tax and MOT records.
