Description
February 1963 was the end of production for the two classics 300 SL and 190 SL. The new 230 SL (W 113 series) was the successor. A modern body and a snarky six-cylinder engine made it a hit as a replacement for the 190 SL. The legendary 300 SL remained without successor. The racing and rally driver Eugen Böhringer earned the new roadster respect with his successes on the 230 SL.
Our Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Roadster is the sportiest version of the W 113 series. During the restoration, the classic car was given a new paint job, a replacement engine and a replacement gearbox, both of which are of course original Mercedes-Benz units. This 230 SL has enormous charisma.
