Description
The French pronounce the DS as Déesse, which means Goddess. This divine automobile made its debut at the 1955 Paris Autosalon and that same day 12, 000 were order!
The car's success was well deserved. The hydraulic suspension gave it the reputation of “the most comfortable car in the world”, the technological solutions were ahead of its time and the design is still considered modern today.
This DS 23 was an expensive and luxurious car when it was delivered in December, 1973, making it a rare sight on Portuguese roads. It was ordered with the 'Pallas' luxury package, with leather upholstery, stereo, climate control, directional headlamps and 5-speed gearbox. The engine with 'Injection Electronique' is like new, as the whole car has been subjected to a meticulous restoration, without skimping on costs!
It is ready for any journey, in extreme comfort, and comes with a certificate of historical interest from the Automóvel Clube de Portugal and also the owners manual.
