At the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, Sir William Lyons’ second bombshell after the XK model, the Jaguar E-Type supercar was unveiled. It was available as a convertible and a coupé. The engine with 3. 8 litres capacity was further developed into a 4. 2 litre unit. Many detail improvements distinguish the 1971 model.
