EXTERIOR
Resplendent in Grigio Granito metallic, the bodywork presents with a lovely swirl-free shine following a machine polish by our in-house detailer. The Pininfarina-penned side profile looks magnificent against our studio backdrop although our lighting really doesn’t do the car enough justice. The overall finish is to a very high standard, the only real negatives being a dusting of light frontal stone chips and a couple of small scrapes very low down/ underneath the front bumper. Finer details such as the bi-xenon headlights are crystal clear, and the LED rear lights are also without fault. All in all, a very smart low mileage 460ps Sport in a particularly tasteful colour combo.
INTERIOR
The interior of the GranTurismo is a mix of high quality materials, expert craftsmanship, and obsessive attention to detail; lavishly appointed with sumptuous Pearl Beige leather it’s a wonderful place to be. Further equipped with the optional Comfort Pack the deeply bolstered sports seats are not only electric but also heated with memory on the driver’s side. Looking closer, the upholstery remains in superb original condition throughout with only expected wear to the driver’s outer bolster. Supple cream leather extends from the seats and along the centre console, across the dash and on to the door cards, again all in excellent unworn condition. The multifunction steering is also immaculate with no wear or ring marks, and the adjacent multimedia screen is perfect. The rear seats appear to have seen little use and the boot area is very clean with no stains.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The GranTurismo’s 4. 7-litre V8 delivers a hefty 460ps at 7, 000rpm with a maximum torque of 520Nm at 4, 750rpm. This adds up to exceptional performance, with acceleration from 0-62mph in just 4. 8 seconds and a top speed of 185mph. The 6-speed auto ‘box makes driving smooth and pleasurable without compromising the engine's sporty performance, offering excellent response whatever the circumstances.
Lift the bonnet of this particular example and you’re greeted by a tidy engine bay looking every bit the low mileage of just 36k. The car has been serviced three times to date, most recently in February 2023 at 35, 906 miles. This £5, 850 service work was carried out by Scuderia Supercars of London. The first two services were both done at Maserati.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
Filling the arches are 20-inch Neptune design alloy wheels, all in perfect unmarked condition having just returned from a full refurbishment at Lepsons. Finished in the correct Grigio Mercury colour they are shod in Pirelli P Zero rubber all round. The rear tyres were replaced in February 2023 as were the front brake discs and pads. The polished aluminium calipers present in fine condition with a good shine, contrasting very nicely against the wheels and body.
HISTORY FILE
With a revised 4. 7-litre Ferrari-built V8 producing 460ps, a stiffer chassis, lighter brakes and a lower drag coefficient than its predecessor the GranTurismo ‘S’, the Sport – as featured here – is widely regarded as how the GranTurismo should have always been.
First registered in November 2013 and supplied new by Graypaul Maserati in Birmingham, this particular example has now driven just 36k miles in the hands of 4 registered keepers. The last service – which cost in excess of £5, 850 – was carried out just a few hundred miles ago in February 2023. With an advisory-free MOT until February 2024, this stunning GranTurismo Sport is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
