Unknown to have survived until about two months ago, still with the same family ownership since 1958, this 1952 Delahaye 235 by Antem was participant at 1953 Rallye Monte Carlo driven by Roger Crovetto and Julio Quinlin.
During the early 1950’ Dunlop company is developing a new type of tyre and in order to test the product, they decided to participate at Rally Monte Carlo to study the behavior of the new tyre. After 1953 Rallye Monte Carlo the car has been recommissioned and bought by American inventor Mr. La Haye. He owned the car for his whole life and kept it in unrestored and very good, running condition. Now it is complete including American title and some really nice period pictures.
