Description
1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I Continental
with coachwork by H J Mulliner. Chassis Number SKG31. This is a rare car indeed being one of only 9 right hand drive aluminium bodied convertibles built. The coachwork is finished in dark blue paintwork with magnolia leather interior trim. The rear seat folds up to accommodate three correct period 'Antler' suitcases, perfect for those continental tours. In the late 1990's this lovely Silver Cloud benefitted from an extensive restoration at The Chelsea Workshop that took forty months to complete and cost £300, 000. Since then it has had a quiet life in a private collection and has had gentle but regular use. This is a truly magnificent motorcar and more rare than its Bentley counterpart. Viewing highly recommended.
