Commissioned by a wealthy collector to be the Ultimate Elan and to be built at no expense spared.
The brief was to bring the fabulous Chapman Elan bang up to date. A long distance fast road car.

Needless to say the total expenditure was well over £100, 000. All documented. And the car is in the same condition as finished.
The original owner did few miles and the condition of the car is outstanding - please see photos and video.
Due to its lack of use and another project I acquired the car and have done another few slight modifications, and have been using it sparingly.
In fact It drives like a modern car with a racecar feel and was developed for long distance touring with 5 speed gearbox.
A very useable classic.
This is a Unique and exceptional car and has lovely early Elan \ 26r styling.
I am looking for less half of its build price :- this is something very very special - looks of a 26r Elan, handles as well as an Elan but 5 speed and 250bhp.

Specialist fit out receipts : £46, 570. 00
Plus the purchase of the original car £23, 000. 00
In addition there a numerous other invoices for smaller items.
As mentioned it starts instantly, no oil drips, 5 speed box, fast - comfortable on long journeys.
Very sad to see it go but building a 26r racer and S1 7which is a bottomless pit at present! More importantly want it to be used in a good home. Simply too many projects and toys.

Bespoke premium quality leather interior including leather headlining and crash pad.

New Spyder Zetec chassis and suspension.
