Description
Horch had established itself at the top of German car manufacturing with its large 8-cylinder engine. But in order to increase sales, the category below luxury had to be created so the genius Fritz Fiedler developed the Horch 830 with V8 engine and 3 liter capacity. By then, Horch belonged to Auto-Union and the board gave the green light for the project. The new car quickly surpassed all existing Horch models and the smaller Horch was presented at the car exhibition in Berlin in 1933.
Our Horch 930 V is from the last, clearly improved series and equipped with a 3. 8 liter engine. This one of a kind car has a custom body by Hornig in Meerane/ Germany. It was initially delivered to Sweden and stayed with its first owner until the early 1950s. It went to Lithuania in 1999 and has been in Germany since 2005 where it was completely restored. It has been with its current owner since 2011. You can present this extraordinary Horch at any Concours d’Elegance!
