Finished in the ever popular Coniston Green white roof & original steel Land Rover wheels, This example really does look like a ‘proper’ Land Rover ready for years of reliable service. Yes it has a small dent on the front wing but it all adds to the charm & character of this little Defender, whilst still looking very presentable on the drive.
Also fitted is a raised air intake/ snorkel & the ever so important Dixon bate adjustable tow bar with electrics.
Inside it is again, totally standard & original having 2 seats + cubby to the front along with 2 bench seats to the rear. There are no comfy creatures or anything fancy, just the pure joy and experience of driving a old school Defender.
The engine and gearbox run and operate beautifully with no issues & drives exactly as one should. Strong, tight & powerful!
The chassis & bulkhead are all very solid and benefits from having 2 recent new doors.
All in all, this is a genuine, unmolested Defender with low mileage. A very useable example, ready for work or play.
Land Rover ceased production of the legendary Defender since 2015 so prices of the ‘ORIGINAL’ Defenders are rapidly rising and a great investment especially the much sought after 300 Tdi.
