I am offering one of a total of 2566 built 3. 0 Carrera coupes, this is a very early coupe from the 77 model year.
The car was exported to the USA as a gray import in the 80s, as the 3. 0 Carrera was not offered on the American market.
From August 1991 until the end of 2014 it was with its last owner in Costa Mesa California, in 2015 we exported the car back to Germany.
In the years that followed the car was disassembled, dry ice blasted and sealed, painted and rebuilt with new rubbers etc...
The engine and the gearbox are overhauled, even all the instruments have been restored and the speedometer has been set to zero.
Thanks to the mild climate in California, there was no welding work on the vehicle, original door lock panels, sills, etc... fenders and side panels are still original and untouched.
The original 7 & 8 Fuchsrims have been restored in the old design and fitted with new tires.
The car will be sold with a new MOT, an H-certificate and, if desired, with an appraisal.
