Description
Gas Gas Aire model (believed) frame number starts with 88 so presuming thats the years of manufacture. Not been used for a while now but starts easily, mains are good no freeplay at all, same for the big end, bit of piston rattle but definitely still good performance.
Ive made a new side stand for it as it was missing, the rear rim is very good no kinks at all, front just minor,
wheels bearings and linkage all good no play, for an air cooled mono these are hard to beat.
Good parts availability, from uk or spain.
New air filter/ spark plug.
good enough michelins to start with not all perished.
Pads have plenty of meat on them,
Rear brake master cylinder needs a seal kit I believe as the caliper pistons do force out but then release,
Plenty of compression
Forks bottoms are scratched but not deep gauges, would easily clean up, likewise no rust at all on the sliders,
Frame and sump plate nice and straight.
Rear shock nice plenty of damping,
nice alloy throttle body and bars .
Not much negativity , only the rear brake.
