The car
The GT500E comes in various versions, but this stands out as one of the finest. It's crafted on a 1967 Fastback V8 Mustang, widely regarded as one of the best platforms available. While some iterations are based on 1968 models (usually cheaper), coupes, or even convertibles, this one remains true to its '67 roots with a V8 engine and an impeccably installed body kit. Imported approximately six years ago, it underwent meticulous customization to meet PTTM standards before being sold to a client who enjoyed it for about five years before moving on to another vehicle. The car comes with current Dutch registration, facilitating easy driving in our country and simplifying registration elsewhere. We can assist in registering it with TUV + H plates if desired. Moreover, it has been fully serviced and is ready for the road, boasting a genuine PTTM build-off and incorporating numerous new parts.
Drivetrain
The vehicle features a fully rebuilt and finely-tuned 351 Cleveland Ford engine, boasting a small block/ big block appearance. This comprehensive build incorporates high-performance components, including new Edelbrock heads, intake, carburetor, ignition system, pistons, piston rings, and all-new bearings. Constructed by our skilled engine builder and rigorously tested on our test bench, the car has only undergone testing miles post-construction. The 4-speed top loader transmission underwent meticulous inspection during the engine rebuild, receiving new gaskets and a fresh coat of paint, ensuring seamless shifting performance. Equipped with a Ford 9-inch rear axle and outfitted with differential and street gears, the vehicle offers optimal cruising capability on both highways and city streets.
Furthermore, an engine bay upgrade necessitated a repaint, resulting in a fresh appearance for both the engine bay and the underside of the car. Additionally, the engine received a fresh coat of paint post-rebuild, presenting a pristine look under the hood. These enhancements were recently completed, supported by invoices and comprehensive photographic documentation, all executed in-house for quality assurance.
Undercarriage
This car features a Mustang type 2 rack and pinion upgraded steering system, along with disc brakes on all four wheels! Recently, we've applied a new undercoating stone protection coating to the underside for added durability. The exhaust system has been repainted with dark gray paint to enhance its appearance and prevent rust. Additionally, headers have been installed on the engine, and the rest of the exhaust system matches the GT500E correct type of side exhaust for authenticity. Overall, the car looks fresh and well-maintained underneath.
Interior
This GT500E features a fully equipped interior, complete with the billet GT500 Pedal dress-up kit and a spacious full-length console. Equipped with a Ford Racing Tachometer and a Billet Shifter Handle featuring the Linelock knob option, it also boasts the authentic GT500E steering wheel. Additionally, the console houses a Nitrous switch (non-functional) for added detail. The entire interior is in excellent condition, having recently undergone restoration with new panels throughout. Extra gauges are conveniently mounted in the center console to monitor key vehicle readings. Moreover, this Eleanor model comes with a roll bar installed for added safety, while the trunk area is adorned with a nitrous bottle replica, completing the tribute to the iconic movie car.
