Description

- Former company vehicle from the founding period of MCM - Interior and roof in MCM design - Carefully restored - Popular on- and off-roader Description: The Suzuki LJ80 is an off-road vehicle built from 1978 to 1982, which was originally developed for the Australian Army. The vehicle was first presented to the public in Germany at the IAA 1979. The LJ80 II version, which was revised for civilian use, was available with a closed steel roof, as a convertible and with a load bed. The Suzuki LJ80 II was sold over 15, 000 times within three years. This model was particularly well known for its excellent off-road capability - not only thanks to its selectable four-wheel drive. The LJ80, which was exported to Europe from 1980, triggered a real off-road boom in this country. The international luxury brand MCM (Modern Creation Munich) was founded in Munich in 1977 and still offers high-quality handbags, leather goods and luggage worldwide today. This vehicle was purchased new by MCM and was probably the first "official" advertising and company vehicle in the founding period of MCM. The Suzuki was fitted with an interior and roof with the now world-famous logo and lettering above a laurel branch and remained in the hands of MCM for over three years. Recently, the LJ80 was carefully restored with a view to preserving its special features. This coveted off-road vehicle has a current H-registration and impresses not least with its sensational history and its manoeuvrability on and off-road.
