History:
Originally built as a Mk3 Spider, this LOLA T70 was sold new by Lola distributors Carl Haas and John Mecom to Homer J. Rader on 15 March 1967.
In 1968 he entered his car driven by Lynn Kysar in the Bridgehampton Can-Am race, but Kysar failed to qualify.
Kysar then drove the car for Rader in local SCCA events, taking a win at Clear Springs. Kysar then bought the car and continued to race it in minor events before selling it in 1970.
The T70 was then modified for road use by adding a large windscreen with wipers.
In 1972 it was sold to South Africa and finally returned to Britain in 1985. Owned by Nigel Hulme, it was fitted with a Mk3B coupe body.
In 1987, Nick Amey acquired the car and competed regularly in historic races. In 1998 he fitted the Mk3 Coupe bodywork which the car still carries today.
Claude Nahum bought this LOLA in 2003 and entrusted it to Bernard Thuner who won numerous races in Classic Endurance Racing and no less than three times Le Mans Classic in 2010, 2012 and 2016.

The current owner acquired this famous T70 Mk3 Coupe in 2017 and entered it at Paul Ricard 2018 and finished 5th overall.
In 2020, its Historic Technical Passport was renewed and is valid until 31 December 2030.
He then entered it in the 2022 Le Mans Classic where it was one of the front runners and achieved a podium finish at the Dix Mille tours du Castellet in August 2022.
Benefiting from a very good level of maintenance and preparation, this LOLA T70 Coupe offers its next owner the possibility to drive in one of the most beautiful prototypes of the period and why not to appear on the podium at the 2023 Le Mans Classic
