Description
This 1968 Stutz Bearcat is a recreation of an original 1914 Bearcat, built for the 1970's TV action-drama Bearcats! It is one of only three custom-built by George Barris.
Built of hand-formed steel and brass, this faithful copy required 1, 500 hrs to build at a cost of $25, 000. Numerous authentic components were measured and carefully reproduced for accuracy.
Powered by a Ford 272 six-cylinder engine and with a three-speed automatic transmission, it comes equipped with both front and rear prop Gatling machine guns as installed by the Barris custom shop. It also features brass radiator and lights and wood-spoke wheels.
It is a charming piece of American and television history.
