CAR DESCRIPTION
Pretty and somewhat rare Austin Healey 3000 MKII BT7. A good body and patina, but not fettled which means you can take the car out and really enjoy driving without worrying about it getting wet or dirty! This model is a sought after model by the brand's collectors as it is a rare tri-carb model with centre gear change. New aluminum fuel tank, new fuel line, battery, front & rear wheel bearings, electronic fuel pump, brake pipes, changed from positive earth to negative earth, so new alternator, and new electronic ignition distributor and HT leads, new clutch, new disc pads. Also rear indicators fitted in place of reflectors.
The BT7 is homologated 2+2, with working overdrive, good soft top and frame along with tonneau cover and metal tensioners. Chrome wire wheels. Had light restoration in early 2000 - have pictures. True mileage unknown, but a good strong engine with great torque / Compression on all cylinders around 150/ 10. 5 Psi -Bar. - spin off oil filter in situ. Lefthand drive, so perfect for touring Europe. Had a great run down to the '23 Le Man's Classic in her with no problems. Any inspection welcome and competitively priced for this marque.
