Description
This stunning original righthand drive 1970 Jaguar E-type Series II still holds its original registration number of HHC 539H. This example comes with a J. D. H. T Heritage Certificate confirming these details and its original colour scheme of Signal Red with black interior and hood.
Accompanying this car is a large history file with invoices dating back to 1981 and MoT test certificates to 1975 verifying the mileage as correct. This is a very original, well maintained and non-modified car, it was subject to a sympathetic restoration over 3 years that included body and paintwork, a full retrim, new hood and a full mechanical overhaul.
It is very unusual to find an E-type with the optional and, expensive at the time, chrome disc wheels. This example is also in stunning condition throughout.
The Series II E-Types have many improvements over the Series I cars; better lighting, brakes and cooling and importantly an improved gear change and smoother engine.
