The sixth generation of the 911 resembles the 1963 911 more closely than its predecessor, the 996, due to the reintroduction of the round headlights. The 997 Carrera and Carrera S models were introduced in the summer of 2004. Both models have a water-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine. Due to a 3 mm larger cylinder bore, the 911 Carrera S has a total of 228 cm³ more displacement and, as a result, a slightly higher output of 355 hp than the base model. According to the documents available, the Carrera S model presented here was delivered to its first owner in July 2004 via the Porsche Centre Bayreuth. At the end of 2009, the car was fitted with a new engine at the Porsche Centre Modena, Italy, as part of its factory warranty with a mileage of around 80, 000 km. The car returned to Germany in 2011 and has been regularly serviced here at Porsche ever since. The service booklet, the original on-board folder including service booklet and various workshop invoices are available. The vehicle is in a very well-kept condition.
