This car is in excellent very original rust free condition. Deliberately not detailed as I feel it presents the car a lot more honest!
Only 3 owner 2 users, sold new in Sweden, never driven in winter, it was brought by a german from the "estate" he had it professionally resprayed in "Saab 153 Sirrus white" in 1997, but he never got it going properly, due to fuel-engine trouble, so it never got registered in Germany. I brought it from him in 1998 via an old Saab dealer/ collector friend in Denmark, so as the 2nd user, I had him rebuild the engine and replace the fuel tank for me and installed a new fuel pump correctly. So it has been used by me when in Denmark, as our very reliable fun annual family holiday car for the last 25 years, when we visit family and friends there every summer from Australia.
I have done close to 40000km, it has been great fun. It has been serviced every year by a mechanic friend and stored in an other friends dry barn.
Now it is time to let go! As none of my boys are interested in inheriting it!
So it is looking for the next owner to enjoy. My historic insurance company has valued it at 20000 Euro's! So I think it is a very realistic price for what it is.
