EXTERIOR
This stunning low mileage example remains in pristine condition. The Brilliant Red paintwork has a beautiful deep shine and has just benefited from a full detail. The paintwork appears to be all original and the only imperfections are a couple of very light stone chips to the lower front end. Always kept garaged and only driven on fine days the underside also remains in fantastic condition. All of the lights, rubber seals, and plastic trims remain in perfect condition.
INTERIOR
Having always lived a garaged life the interior remains in sublime condition. The leather retains its soft satin finish with no marks other than a tiny amount of wear to the edge of the drivers bolster. Everything works exactly as it should and none of the controls show any sign of use. The soft top folds down quickly and there is no wear to the black canvas. The luggage compartment also remains in pristine condition.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The R8’s V10 provides the most intoxicating soundtrack with the hood down. This example has been maintained to the highest standard and has just come back from a full service and health check at Audi, and so is ready to be enjoyed. Opening the engine compartment reveals an immaculate engine that’s free from any of the usual signs of salty roads – everything looks factory-fresh.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
The alloys remain in lovely condition with only a tiny mark in the lacquer on the driver’s side front. The rear tyres have recently been replaced and the fronts have an even 4mm of tread remaining. Looking through the spokes, the braking components are all immaculate and everything is in perfect working condition. On the recent inspection at Audi the magnetic ride shocks were inspected and reported to be in excellent leak-free condition.
HISTORY FILE
This examples comes with a full and perfectly documented history file. All 5 services are stamped in the original book and backed up with the invoices detailing the work carried out. The first 3 stamps are Audi, then 1 with an Audi specialist, and then the last at Audi in August 2022 at 15, 995 miles. Every MOT certificate has also been kept along with all the original paperwork from the supplying dealer including the warranty details. All of the owners' manuals are present along with the spare key. The car was originally registered in October 2010 and has had a total of 4 keepers.
