This is the first Speed 20 open tourer built by Vanden Plas and the third 20SA produced. An historic vehicle with unrestored bodywork showing the scars of life. A very rare opportunity indeed having changed family ownership only once in the last 70 years. The car was supplied to Chas. Follett on 22/ 12/ 31 probably used as a demonstrator then first sold on 29/ 4/ 32 to S. F. R Holmes of Baker St. London and entered in the 1933 RAC Rally. It swapped owners a few times in the forties before joining the Johnson family for 65 years.
A unique car to use 'as is' and cherish its sporty performance. It is not cheap but totally unique . The first Speed 20 Vanden Plas Tourer and a piece of Alvis Motoring History.
