EQUIPMENT
Aspen White paintwork, Blue Alcantara / black cloth upholstery, 6-speed manual transmission, 17-inch STI alloy wheels in gold, Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD), STI front strut brace, Intercooler water spray, Roof hatch, Rear spoiler with integrated third brake light, STI exhaust, Air conditioning, Electric folding door mirrors, Electric windows front and rear, Leather-trimmed STI steering wheel, Leather gear knob and handbrake lever, Blue carpets, Subaru overmats in blue, Space saver spare wheel, Spare key, Delimited.
EXTERIOR
This fantastic STI Spec C presents in amazing condition and appears to still wear its original coat of paint. Other than a small handful of stone chips to the front bumper and leading edge of the bonnet the paintwork is almost without fault. The car has just benefited from a full detail and the paint is looking fantastic with a lovely smooth finish. All of the plastic trims around the car are in excellent condition, and the lights are free from chips or cracks. The underside is also in amazing condition with zero surface corrosion and no signs of any damage or repairs. On arrival in the UK in 2021 the Impreza was treated to a full clear coat of cavity wax to preserve its amazing condition.
INTERIOR
Opening the driver’s door reveals a truly immaculate interior. The seats are in first-rate condition with no wear to the fabrics and only the tiniest amount of creasing to the driver’s bolster. The dashboard and centre console are pristine with no scratches or any damage to any of the controls; the same can be said for all of the door cards other than a tiny scuff on the edge of the driver’s door handle. The steering wheel and gear knob still retain a factory matt textured finish and again are free from any scuffs or wear marks. All of the carpets are spotless and still protected by the original Subaru overmats; the headlining is also perfect with no damage or any stains. Popping the boot lid reveals an immaculate luggage compartment and under the carpet you will find the space saver spare wheel.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The engine bay is also notably clean and tidy. All the white paintwork on the inner wings and slam panel is original and, in-keeping with the underside, there is no surface corrosion on any of the parts with only a little oxidisation to the aluminium components. The car has just been fully inspected and of course it passed with flying colours. It’s clear from reading the history file that this example has always been maintained to an excellent standard.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
Each of the alloys are in nice condition with only a couple of small chips; they are shod in a matching set of Bridgestone tyres with plenty of meat left on the bone. The brakes are in fine working condition and again there are no signs of corrosion on any of the braking or suspension components. The discs and pads were replaced in may 2021 during the last service.
HISTORY FILE
This outstanding low mileage example has a full and comprehensive service history. The original Japanese Subaru service book is present and has services stamped at the following mileages (converted from KM): 830 – 2, 270 – 3, 940 – 8, 038 – 13, 950 – 19, 195 – 24, 624 – 27, 095 – 29, 432 – and most recently at 32, 053 miles in May 2021. Within the History File the lucky new owner will be presented with the original document folder, all owner’s manuals, import paperwork, and spare key.
