1990 Ford escort xr3i convertible.
I have decided to sell our outstandingly original Escort.
This time warp car should not be confused with restored or tidied cars. It retains so much originality that it is probably very close to being a reference car for the future.
It has spent its entire life being well cared for and is in need of a new owner who will enjoy its full potential as a usable modern classic.
It was recently invited to take part in the Queens 95th birthday celebrations at the Hampton Court Palace concours. Its first trip out for many years, almost 250 miles completed without a problem.
* mostly original paint (bonnet was painted some 12 years ago), it is unmarked and in excellent condition .
* Virtually perfect interior, rear seats have possibly never been used.
* Hood is original.
* Engine bay is in exceptional condition
* Always been stored properly (has lived in a heated storage since 2009)
Whilst the car is in excellent overall condition, there are some signs of wear. There has always been a conscious decision made to preserve this car rather than just replace. For instance, a stonechip is touched in rather than painting the whole panel.
