Description
In the early 1990s, Dax (of the Cobras/ Rushes) sold a Ford GT40 in kit form, about 30 of them were sold. The asking price for the finished cars is now at least 75K.
Ten years ago I bought this GT40 as rolling chassis, but I don't get have enough time finish it.
Dax (DJ Sportscars) has delivered this GT40 in 1992 as rolling chassis. What is included:
-2x fuel tank, already built in
-Dax gear lever with mechanism, already built in
-Steering column, already built in
-Chassis plate with number
-Renault gearbox
-Ford 351 lower block + crankcase
-intermediate plate and flywheel
-2x filler caps, cost 400 Euros each
-Door locks set
-Dashboard
-2x drive shafts
It´s now located in Belgium, but I can also take it to the UK (North Weald), where it can be collected.
