The R170 Mercedes SLK was based on the SLK I Concept, a two-seater roadster concept car that featured a folding metal electro-hydraulic roof, dubbed 'vario-roof' by Mercedes, which takes 25 seconds to operate.
This car has been used by myself for a few years and has proved reliable and mechanically good. Paint and interior trim are in good condition and the electric roof works as it should.
The mileage is a below average at 79, 870 for a 19 year old car - making it exceptionally good value for money and the potential to increase in price as it becomes regarded as having classic status
The standard equipment includes power heated seats, power windows, power steering, dual-zone climate control, automatically dimming mirrors, and alloy wheels. Safety features include front and side driver and passenger airbags, anti-lock brakes, and electronic stability control.
