Entirely unmodified and just 11, 500 miles from new, boasting full service history with 11 stamps in the book.
EQUIPMENT
Frozen White paintwork, Grey Alcantara / Blue cloth Recaro sports seats, 19-inch RS alloy wheels, Electric folding door mirrors, Electric windows, Rear privacy glass, Xenon headlights, Heated front windscreen, Sony radio with DAB, Keyless button start, Alarm system, Air conditioning, Rear spoiler, Spare keys.
EXTERIOR
This has to be the finest Mk2 Focus RS we’ve had the pleasure of selling here at 4 Star. Finished in a glistening coat of Frozen White this amazingly original example presents beautifully beneath our showroom lighting. The car is 100% modification-free and remains exactly as it did leaving the factory in 2009. Looking closely there are almost no blemishes or imperfections to note, the only real negatives to report being a handful of very light stone chips low down on the front splitter evidencing the car’s honesty. Truly one for the collector, looking every bit the low mileage of 11, 500.
INTERIOR
The interior is just as you’d expect for an 11k mile car. The RS Recaro buckets are absolutely pristine having always been covered in recent years, the only wear to mention being the tiniest amount of creasing on the driver’s bolster perfectly in line with the mileage. There are no aftermarket upgrades to be found and all the switchgear is amazingly unmarked. The steering wheel shows no signs of any wear and the centre console’s carbon effect trim is also flawless. In the footwells you’ll find the original RS overmats and the boot area is also really clean.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Lifting the bonnet reveals a factory standard engine bay, free from any modifications or aftermarket upgrades. All components still appear very fresh with no signs of any damage or previous poor repair to note. Reading through the paperwork it’s evident that despite its low mileage the car has been meticulously maintained, never wanting for anything. There are 11 stamps in the service booklet, 10 of which are from Ford main dealers and 1 from reputable Ford specialist Clark Engineering. The most recent service was carried out by Hendy Ford in February 2021 at 11, 160 miles and the timing belt was last changed in July 2019 at 11, 011 miles.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
The Focus sits on its original 19-inch RS alloy wheels, all in excellent condition and still wearing the correct silver finish. They are wrapped in matching Continental rubber all round, with plenty of tread left at each corner. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition, stopping the car quickly and confidently.
HISTORY FILE
This cossetted example was first registered in May 2009. It has now driven a mere 11k miles in the hands of just 3 registered keepers. Fastidiously maintained by each of its owners the car has been serviced almost exclusively at Ford main dealers, the only exception being one specialist service carried out by Clark Engineering in 2018. The original maintenance booklet is stamped 11 times (detailed below) and the last service was done in 2021 less than 400 miles ago.
