Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Gr. A Rally - Maxi Evo 1986 Built with a new original Ford Competition 909551 bodyshell of the time. Italian registration card and plates and new H. T. P. FIA 2021-2031 Car built at the time by Repetto Motors, starting with a new lightweight Ford Motorsport bodyshell (supplied to Repetto directly by Ford Motorsport of Boreham) Repetto began work in 1988 on behalf of a customer, fitted Roll bar type Matter to the bodyshell, made all modifications to the bodyshell, but then the project was abandoned.
The bodywork has remained in a warehouse until today In 2018, Ezio Repetto, decided to finish the work started by his father, and to have a new Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Rally built, the same as the official cars of the time, with all the Ford Motorsport spare parts marked "909", having them available, as a remainder of the Repetto Motors warehouse, which at the time was the official Ford tuner in Italy.
This car consists of: # New lightweight Ford Motorsport bodywork with original number plate, built in 1988 by Repetto with 40mm diameter roll bar, Matter type, homologated and NEVER USED !!!! # Complete Gr A front suspension on uniball, with all Ford Motorsport 909 homologated arms, including torsion bars. Complete Gr A rear suspension, including new aluminium arms, hub links, omegas and torsion bars (all Ford Motorsport 909 type) # 5 new 17x8 inch Speedline rims # Complete Gr A braking system, with twin master cylinders, Tilton brake regulator, Maxima Evoluzione front brakes, with 350mm front diameter and large 6-pump brake calipers (very rare kit today!) # Transmission with homologated Getrag Gr A gearbox with long bellhousing, 9 inch differential, original Gr A drive shaft of the time, and all original Gr A gearbox mounts homologated on the board, homologated Gr A half-shafts and couplings # Gr A type electrical system, with oversized Gr A type alternator with headlamp bonnet with 4 lights for night tests # All engine cooling accessories (oversized water radiator, aluminium water tanks, homologated Gr A type pulleys and various mounts # Branded petrol fuel system equal to official cars, starting with filler cap, double pumps, etc. etc., including the new petrol tank identical to the one used at the time on the cars built at Boreham # New Gr A engine, with special block (modified with studs, instead of bolts to fix the cylinder head) new turbine with 38 mm flange # New 70 mm diameter exhaust pipe with side exit, official Gr A type # Aluminium crankcase protection for under-engine protection # New OMP homologated seats, new fire-fighting system, new seat belts # NEW H.
