Description
Registered in May 1949, MPH 996 is one of the first three Works Cars built by Connaught. Raced by company founder Rodney Clarke, it’s early racing history is documented in the book ‘From Send To Syracuse’.
The engine, gearbox and carburettors have been rebuilt by Sigma Engineering. Bodywork, brakes, shock absorbers, steering box and wheels have been reconditioned. It’s been repainted and fitted with a new set of Blockleys.
This a very nice car with a super history and has raced at two Goodwood Revivals. Price reduced.
